We are based in Dalgety Bay, Fife, however we also cover Falkirk and surrounding areas including Edinburgh and Lothians. With over 30 years’ experience, we are committed to providing the best one to one friendly and professional mortgage advice in Scotland.
Our Advisors
Steve McAvoy
Steve has worked as a mortgage and insurance adviser since 1987 and has always been involved in or around an estate agency background. As well as holding all the relevant Mortgage Advice Qualifications, Steve is a qualified Chartered Insurance Broker and is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Michael McKenna
Mortgage and Protection Adviser
Michael has worked with Mortgage Help Scotland since early 2020. Michael is a fully qualified mortgage and protection advisor.
Michael enjoys working with people to help them achieve the best outcome, and takes great pride in delivering good customer service to his clients.
Martyn Curtis
Mortgage and Protection Adviser
Martyn has worked in the financial industry since 2006 with 2 large national banks, an offshore investment company and then onto becoming a Mortgage & Protection adviser from 2015 when passing all his qualifications. Martyn has experience as a Mortgage & Protection broker working through an estate agent before joining Mortgage Help Scotland in 2020 and brings along fantastic knowledge of the house buying process.
China-Jane Newton
Mortgage and Protection Adviser
China-Jane is a fully qualified mortgage and protection adviser with 15 years of industry experience,
China-Jane is fully versed in all forms of mortgage lending with particular experience of complex cases including high net worth clients, buy to let portfolio restructuring (including limited company SPV) and complicated income streams. China-Jane prides herself on providing a great customer experience and enjoys helping clients achieve their property goals, however ambitious they may be.
